Insights and events
Martin Strauch specializes in complex litigation, especially with a tech focus, and in Cybersecurity. He focuses on commercial, cyber, financial services and insolvency litigation. His clients benefit from his extensive technical understanding and background in the IT sector. He is known to be particularly persistent during the discovery of the facts and the defense in court. He also has many years of experience in out-of-court negotiations and complex settlements. Martin always puts the overall business strategy of his clients first.
Martin is part of our worldwide core team leading the Technology Litigation and Arbitration sub-practice. He is also one of the leaders of our German Data & Cyber Litigation Group as well as our German Artificial Intelligence Focus Group. In addition to the automotive industry and the financial services sector, Martin regularly advises clients from the e-commerce sector as well as insolvency administrators. The spectrum includes Cyber Incident Response Plans, Crisis Management, commercial and corporate disputes as well as data privacy and cybersecurity related disputes.
In his work, Martin regularly uses legal tech applications and contributes significantly to their further development. This especially helps him to make the handling of mass claims like in data privacy disputes extremely cost-efficient.
Martin is a founding member of the Rotary e-Club of Bavaria International and still is a board member at Urlaubskinder e.V., a charitable organisation that organizes camps for underprivileged children from all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
