Matt McTygue is a leading corporate lawyer with over 25 years of experience in private equity and finance. 

Matt represents private equity and venture capital firms, investors, and private companies in a broad range of acquisition, financing, and other business transactions, including leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, senior, mezzanine and venture debt financings, restructurings, and recapitalizations and general corporate matters.

Matt is the President-Elect of the Boston Bar Association (BBA) where he is also a member of its Executive Committee and the Boston Bar Foundation Society of Fellows.

Representative experience

Ironwood Capital on more than 35 acquisitions and financings in a variety of industries, including environmental services, health care, infrastructure, manufacturing, transportation and logistics.

Hainesport Transportation Group in connection with a minority investment, recapitalization and financing transaction involving Tecum Partners.

The Facilities Group in connection with multiple acquisitions of janitorial, maintenance and security services companies.

An environmental services company in New England on multiple acquisition transactions.

Ara Partners in connection with its investment in an entity developing decarbonization technologies.*

Amberjack Capital in a variety of acquisitions and investments, including, most recently, its investment in Transform Materials.*
