Valerio is a senior associate in the Technology, Media and Communications and Commercial Group in the Hogan Lovells Rome office. He has gained a deep knowledge of the TMT sector in assisting online and tech operators in Italy and EU on a broad range of challenges. His experience includes commercial negotiations, sharing economy, privacy, e-commerce, internet service providers' liability, consumer protection and driver-less cars regulation.
When it comes to new technologies Valerio is always ahead of the game and clients can count on his knowledge of the sector, innovative thinking as well as deep understanding of the law.
As of 2022 Valerio is a PhD candidate in Public Law at the University of Roma Tre, where he graduated in Law in 2015. During his studies, he spent 6 months at the European Parliament in Brussels and 6 months at the University of Malta, as part of an international student exchange program. Thanks to these international experiences, Valerio is fluent in Italian and English.
