Partner Ari Fitzgerald receives FCBA Distinguished Service Award at 2024 FCBA Spring Reception
Washington, D.C., 27 June, 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Ari Fitzgerald, practice area leader for Communications, Internet and Media, has been honored with the Federal Communications Bar Association’s (FCBA) Distinguished Service Award, which was presented during the FCBA’s Spring Reception on June 20, 2024.
At this annual event, the FCBA President recognizes a select number of individuals to receive the Distinguished Service Award. The individuals who receive this prestigious award have exhibited leadership and shown great support for the FCBA.
The FCBA is the voluntary bar association for attorneys, engineers, consultants, economists, government officials, and law students involved in the study, development, interpretation, and practice of communications and information technology law and policy in the United States.
Ari was honored for his unwavering commitment to and involvement with the organization. He served as an FCBA Executive Committee Member from 2009 - 2012, as FCBA Treasurer from 2018 -2019, and has co-chaired or worked with several FCBA practice committees over the years. Ari has also devoted a significant amount of time to the organization’s Diversity Pipeline Program as the featured keynote-off lecturer for its Telecom, Media, and Technology (TMT) Law & Policy Certificate Program.
