Tu’s practice focuses on real estate and renewable energy. Her experience also includes a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters including strategic investments, mergers and acquisitions, employment, and regulatory and compliance issues. She is familiar with dealing with both multinational and Vietnamese companies, including State-owned companies. 

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Tu practiced at a leading Vietnamese law firm and pursued a master's degree in law under the Ireland Fellows Programme in the Republic of Ireland. 

Tu speaks native Vietnamese and fluent English.

Representative experience

Advising Keppel Land in the acquisition of a strategic stake in the Vietnamese LLC developing the US$1.2bn Thu Thiem project.*

Advising one of the largest retail property development and investment company in the South East Asia on its US$42m investment in a commercial complex project in Hanoi.*

Advising Pfizer Vietnam on numerous matters related to corporate, commercial, employment, regulatory, and compliance issues.*

Advising a foreign fund on its investment into a local company developing 17 rooftop solar power projects.*

Advising NP Industrial JSC on real estate matters including conducting due diligence on the land of industrial zones and reviewing land sublease agreements.*

Advising Masan Group on its purchase/selling of capital contribution/shares to/from other companies in Vietnam.*

Advising a foreign fund on its divestment from a public company holding 9 project companies operating 9 clean water supply projects.*

Advising a number of state-owned companies (including, among others, Sabeco) with respect to their compliance in their real estate business projects and other compliance issues.*

Advising a multinational Fortune Global 500 company on setting up 4 wind power projects with capacity of 50MW each.*

Advising Vietnam – Oman Investment Fund on its US$27.7m investment into 2 solar power projects in Vietnam.*
