Vassi Iliadis is one of the firm's lead California litigators when complex matters of data privacy and protection result in class action litigation and regulatory enforcement.

A dynamic and pragmatic problem solver, Vassi has significant experience litigating large-scale consumer class actions and multijurisdictional suits from inception through resolution arising out of some of the most highly publicized data breaches and state-sponsored cyberattacks on record.

In addition to litigating these matters, Vassi guides organizations in the technology, financial, healthcare, and pharmaceutical industries in coordinating incident response, managing forensic investigations (including advising on issues of attorney-client privilege), responding to government inquiries and investigations, and leading highly sensitive internal investigations when an unexpected crisis arises impacting an organization’s data privacy and cybersecurity.

Vassi also has deep experience litigating a broad range of commercial disputes, including health care contracts, insurance coverage issues, product defect issues, and the enforcement of arbitration agreements.

As a first generation college graduate and diverse woman, Vassi is passionate about helping the firm deliver on its commitments to diversity and inclusion.  Vassi was selected to participate as the firm’s Diversity Pathfinder in the Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity, an organization of corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners dedicated to creating a truly diverse legal profession.

During law school, Vassi was actively engaged in trial advocacy and served as a director of the Berkeley Law mock trial program. She was a national semi-finalist in the ABA labor and employment trial competition and regional champion of the Texas Young Lawyer Association's national trial competition. Vassi served as a law clerk in the criminal division of the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General.
