As counsel in our Employment practice, Anvita advises on a variety of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious, including disciplinary and grievance processes, terminations and unfair dismissal, as well as advising clients on employment tribunal claims and the employment aspects of corporate transactions.
Anvita has a particular expertise in leading and managing complex multi-jurisdictional projects for clients, leveraging the firm's global employment practice, together with collaborating with other key practice areas such as M&A, data privacy and employment tax and incentives.
Anvita advises clients on all employment aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and restructurings and outsourcing deals.
She acts for clients in the defence of complex claims involving allegations of discrimination, victimisation, breach of equal pay legislation and whistleblowing detriment and dismissal at the Employment Tribunal. Anvita also regularly advises clients in the financial services and retail industry in the defence of goods and services discrimination claims.
Anvita has a particular focus on diversity, equity and inclusion ("DEI") and regularly advises clients on DEI issues, both in the workplace and in the design of products for consumers.
Representative experience
Acting for a global health care and life sciences company as the lead employment attorney on a complex publicly announced internal reorganisation and spin-off.
Acting for financial institutions in the defence of a complex whistleblowing, unfair dismissal and maternity, pregnancy and sex discrimination claims.
Acting for a global infrastructure firm in the defence of complex employment tribunal claims, involving allegations of race, religion and caste discrimination.
Advising a multinational travel company on a series of business-critical projects, including a global redundancy project; changes to hybrid working arrangements and a global outsourcing.
Acting for a multinational software company on a complex employee investigation in relation to allegations of sex discrimination, bullying and breach of contract.
