Sophie Ulrich advises national and international companies on complex M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and venture capital financing as well as on a wide range of core corporate legal matters. 

Sophie studied law at the University of Cologne and the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and completed her legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Dusseldorf. During this time, she worked for a Big Four accounting firm and at the German Embassy in Singapore. Sophie additionally added subject expertise in the Private Equity space through her one-year secondment in the Private Equity team in our Frankfurt office.

IBM on the global separation and reorganization of Kyndryl Holdings, Inc.,its managed infrastructure service business, prior to the spin-off of Kyndryl into a separate publicly traded company

Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) on the acquisition of a minority stake of 28.5% in the financing platform Capveriant GmbH

NRW.BANK on the privatisation of WestSpiel Group 

ESTEVE on its acquisition of German pharmaceutical company Riemser Pharma GmbH from private investment house Ardian

Honeywell on the acquisition of Transnorm from IK Investment

Art-Invest on its acquisition of GHOTEL Group, the operator of the "GHOTEL hotel & living" hotels, from AURELIUS

Westmont Hospitality Group on the assumption of the operator role of a German hotel portfolio and the establishment of a joint venture with the property owner Invesco Real Estate
